Ports and maritime infrastructure are vital to trade, transport and national resilience.

A chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive (CBRNE) incident can put people at risk, interrupt operations and require rapid coordination between operators, emergency services and public authorities. Effective preparation means ensuring teams understand their responsibilities and have opportunities to practise working together.

CEC Global Communications, working with UK and Sweden based H&P Global Vision and a wider network of former military and security personnel, is launching bespoke, in-house CBRNE resilience training** for port authorities, terminal operators, maritime businesses and infrastructure teams.

Delivered exclusively in-house, the programme is tailored to each organisation’s facilities, operational priorities and emergency arrangements.

The two-day course combines learning with practical preparation:

  • Day One — Classroom training: CBRNE awareness, incident recognition, escalation, communications, organisational responsibilities and business continuity. Supporting course materials are tailored to the client’s needs.

  • Day Two — Resilience and tabletop wargaming: A facilitated scenario exercise testing decision-making, coordination and operational recovery. Local Resilience Forums, civil contingency partners and emergency services can participate by agreement, helping teams explore how their plans work together.

  • Train-the-trainer options provide nominated staff with course materials and delivery guidance to support ongoing internal awareness training.

The programme complements CEC Global and H&P Global Vision’s wider support for defence, aerospace and security businesses, including market assessment, partner identification, risk mapping, tender support and strategic communications. Our networks span the UK, Europe, Canada and the US.

Each training engagement is scoped and priced individually according to the organisation’s requirements, participant numbers and exercise objectives.
